MPSA Latina/o Caucus - Business Meeting Saturday April 6th 3:00 to 4:30 pm in the Medinah Parlor on the 6th Floor to formally celebrate our award winners, vote for upcoming vacancies in our leadership team, and discuss other important Caucus business.
The Business Meeting is open to everyone - grad students and faculty, Latino/a political scientists or political scientists with a research agenda focused on Latino/a politics. Discuss Caucus business as it relates to membership, dues, career awards, paper awards, and mentorship programs. Meet and mingle with scholars of similar interest.

2024 Award Winners
Early Career Award*: The recipient of the MPSA Latina/o Caucus Early Career Award is Dr. Vanessa Cruz Nichols, Assistant Professor of Political Science at Indiana University.
Best Graduate Student Paper: The recipient of the MPSA Latina/o Caucus Best Graduate Student Paper is Chris Flores, for the paper: “La Raza Cósmica? The Construction of Latinx Racial Identities Beyond Panethnicity.” Chris is a PhD candidate in the Department of Political Science at Stanford University.
